Public Policy Intern

Overview: The position entails monitoring legislative and regulatory activity in the DC City Council and regulatory agencies, performing research on potential legislative initiatives, drafting summaries of pending legislation, drafting position statements and helping to coordinate MSE’s positions on public policy matters.


Minimum Qualifications:

•  Candidates should be attending an accredited college or university and be eligible to receive academic credit in connection with this internship.

•  Ideal candidates should have excellent writing and research skills and be proficient at creating documents and presentations.

•  Computer Skills: Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
